ALL SOULS COMMEMORATION
After the 5 p.m. Mass, we will meet in the front of the church to pick up luminaries, vigil lights, and prayer cards. Together, we will process to the cemetery to place the lights on the graves of our loved ones. If you have relatives buried in our cemetery, this is a beautiful way to pray for them. If not, it is a great gift to pray for a stranger as we would want them to pray for us.
For our children, it offers a meaningful way to learn about the Catholic tradition of praying for the departed on All Souls Day and throughout November. It’s also a powerful witness to passersby, seeing the lights flickering on the graves in the darkness of night
If you plan to attend PLEASE LET US KNOW by signing up online. This is simply to assure we have plenty of luminaries and candles.
