CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD

We believe that even very young children can have a real relationship with God. Adults can help that relationship grow, but it is the Holy Spirit who is at work in each child. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd gives children a special place and time to come to know God in a way that is especially suited to them. Through the Bible, prayer, beautiful materials, and hands-on activities, children are invited to wonder, ask questions, and grow in their relationship with Jesus. We are very happy to offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at St. John.
We offer a Level 1 CGS class for our parish children during the GROWING CATHOLICS Wednesday evening session (5:30 - 6:30 p.m.) Register for Growing Catholics and select that session.
We are blessed to have trained CGS catechist in our parish: Fran Trecha and Alison Maher.
If you would be interested in being trained in this beautiful work, HERE is more information. The parish will gratefully pay the training fee for anyone who would want to make this commitment.
