​APPLEFEST Volunteers Needed!!!

Applefest planning is well underway and each and every event needs your help. To prepare for this largest festival in the area, we need you to volunteer your time and talent.

Volunteers are needed for every event from making apple pies, serving in the food booths, helping with kiddie games and the farmers market, to selling raffle tickets and assisting with the golf outing.

To volunteer, CLICK HERE to fill out the volunteer sign up form and you will receive an email or call from one of the Applefest Chairs.

CHAPEL TREASURES, Formerly Attic Treasures

Great News to all you Garage Sale Seekers, Chapel Treasures (formerly attic treasurers) is back for the APPLEFEST 2022!!

Much appreciation goes to Laura Starrs and her team for Chairing this popular event. It has a new name, Chapel Treasures, and a new location. The currently vacant St. John Chapel will house the event while awaiting its future renovations. The Chapel has been cleaned up and is ready for the sale.

Drop off your items ONLY on Wednesday and Thursday nights in AUGUST from 4:00- 7:00 pm using the circle drive on Adelaide.

THE DATES FOR DROP-OFF ARE:
  • August 10-11
  • August 17-18
  • August 24-25

Again, collection will take place from 4pm—7pm, on these dates, using the circle drive
on Adelaide.

All items should be in clean and in working condition, NO CLOTHING, LARGE PIECES OF
FURNITURE, OR ELECTRONICS, will be accepted. No Drop-off’s will be accepted at any other times or locations on the Church Campus.

We’ll be bringing back some favorites:

Pizza, Elephant Ears, Padre’s Chili, Coffee & Donuts, and of course, Apple Pies, and:
  • Friday Fish Fry Dinner
  • Saturday: Chicken Dinner
  • Sunday: Spaghetti Dinner

In addition Food Trucks will be available featuring tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage and Mediterranean food!

​RAFFLE UPDATE

RAFFLE TICKETS ARE READY AND WAITING FOR YOU TO PICK UP AFTER ALL THE MASSES IN THE GATHERING SPACE.

Please place the small ticket stubs and your check or cash in the envelope provided and drop in the collection boxes at all the entrances to church, or drop off at the parish office. If you need additional tickets to sell pick them up at the Welcome Desk or the Parish Office.
