Women's Retreat at St. John

Begin, Renew, Strengthen
"Our mission is to provide a Holy-Spirit filled weekend that begins, renews, and strengthens your relationship with our Lord."

What is Different this year?

  • This is not your former retreat.
  • Retreat will be 2 days with no overnight stay.
  • We’ll have a Spiritual Retreat Team AND a Facilitation Team.
  • There will be some familiar activities on the weekend.

Important Meeting Dates

  • Spiritual Disciples (responsible for the weekend content and its presentation)
    • First Meeting held on Tuesday, May 3rd (continuing each Tuesday evening)

  • Facilitation Disciples (various committees in charge of setup/tear down, food, behind-the-scenes operation to make the weekend run smoothly)
    • First Meeting held on Tuesday, April 19th - Founders Hall - 6:30pm
    • Opportunities include:
      • Decoration/Setup (Main Room; Dining Room; Hall/Bathroom; Adoration Room; Food: snacks, beverages, serving; cleanup)
      • Communication (Invitations; Registration - paper & online; Welcome/Check-in table; Support Letters; Folder and supplies)
      • Room Environment (Music; Lights; Timing of events; Temperature control of room; etc.)
      • Table Leaders/Post-Retreat Connectors (Training to be provided)
      • Teardown/Cleanup (All Rooms)
      • Facilitation Coordinator (Coordinates & Communicates with Spiritual & Facilitation Committees)
